One of my roommates tried to convince me of that the other day :loco: I asked him, 'how to fossils exist then?' he didn't have an answer
Gap Theory, baby, Gap theory. What about Lilith, and any/all the apocryphal portions of the bible the silly Catholic Pope took out because he thought it was too "strange" for the mainstream. This is not a topic I should get into, even the Pyramid Timeline, and the Dogstar Religion. There is a lot going on in that book that people don't see because of translation and assumption.
So let me get this straight.. Dark matter is Matter that exists but we're not able to see it or detect it. It just has an effect on matter we can see?
Yup, pretty much. It has a gravitational effect. In essence, a large group of dark matter has so much gravitational force that it bends light. This is actually how scientists proved it existed. Even crazier is that this "gravitational lensing" magnifies the area of universe around it, letting us see even further into the past. Oh, and dark energy/matter combined compose 95% of the universe.
It sucks that our universe is eventually doomed, based the observation that as the galaxies spread out further they gain velocity (meaning it gonna be quite cold out there someday):(
