If you go onto Amazon right now, or any big online retailier, they're having an HD DVD fire sale. Prices on HD DVD's have been slashed in half everywhere, if not more.
I'm REALLY glad I didn't buy a player when Costco had them at $149 about a month ago.Comment

I have a friend who got a Laserdisc player at a garage sale a few years ago for $25, and he loves it. He buys Laserdiscs on ebay and Amazon all the time for dirt cheap, I think he has something like 50 or 60 of them. They're way better quality than VHS, and just about as good as DVD. it was a no brain'r from the start. Same media output but with one that could store up to 6x's the amount of space. I just feel sorry for all those that went out and picked up that $100 special this Christmas or even bought the Xbox HD player for $250. Now we just need to get the BlueRay disk drives down in price. Its almost better to buy a PS3 just for the BlueRay.
The only thing that is going to hurt with Blue Ray or HD technology is the Porn Industry. Ones not really going to want to see all the pimples and ingrown hairs on a girls ass so vividly. Oh well!Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!
