    The eclipse that saved Columbus...

Anyone planning on watching the total lunar tomorrow? If any of you photography guys happen to shoot this, please post pics. I'll be naked eye'ing it for sure. After all, one only gets to see the moon turn red every blue moon.... and it's only getting smaller.

This is the last one for three years. I have a favorite vantage spot atop a ridge east of town. I plan to be watching!!

Seems like the snow will keep us from watching, lets hope it clears up...

Yeah, its raining here, not getting a chance to shoot the eclipse tonight, or for the next three years.

Raining in Texas and Socal, but not here in WA? No way. It's probably raining on the west side though.

Thanks for posting this, I had no idea. I'll check it for sure. Though it won't be very dark for the first hour or so.

It snowed about 2" up here. But it stopped and the sky is clear as a bell.

yeah looks like the sky will actually be clear for once for us to see stuff here in western washington! the meteor showers were messed up by clouds this year. the last lunar eclipse over the summer was pretty cool though, but really late at night.

It's pretty cool. Almost 2/3 of the moon is covered with a yellow/orange tint.
