Mariano, check it out bro! Getting to watch them play in person would at least offset some of the disappointment of losing to us that same month. LOL.
"The Argentine Football Association said a group involved in arranging the matches has raised the possibility of an Argentine game against Mexico in San Diego on June 4"
I love the way Argentine reporters are already creating excuses for the loss against Brasil. They are not fooling me!
"Local reports suggested he would have to weigh the benefits against any fatigue with World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Brazil scheduled for mid June."
No offense but, I don't really care for the way the Argentinians play. They seem way too violent... Wait... This is futbol... Violence? Of course.

I disagree, but I dont want it to turn into an argument between the only few people on this forum who like futbol. ;) Maluco, if you could see how they treat our seleccion in the press down there, you would change your mind. Dont forget that the front page of the paper you have was from Argentina. I have that issue. If it was how you say, it would have said some excuse. haha.

It's pretty much the same when our seleção starts to under perform. As far as the excuse thing, I was just joking around. Yeah, I remember being surprised when I saw that front page. It was almost like they were rubbing it in.... The pressure our national teams bare!
The Chamions League is shaping up very nicely! Copa Libertadores, Champion League and recently getting ATT U-Verse, damn I'm glad I lost my job!!!!!
Hahahaha. Thats the beauty of futbol!!! It can make even that a positive thing!!!
On another note: Ive started playing again. Im so much happier. The periods that I am playing soccer in my life, are my happiest. I actually love playing, love the game, it lifts my spirits. I dont know how to describe it.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I can't wait to start playing again, I tore both meniscus in my left knee and am just about recovered from surgery. Just in time for winter to let up!! I just play recreationally on the weekends though.
Shit, Arsenal (Arg) is getting their asses handed to them by Fluminense (Bra) right now... 3 (beautiful goals) to 0 at the half. (Copa Libertadores)
EDIT: Wow! Mad case of the Flu. 6 to 0 with each being top 10 material! I really have to come back here later and post the highlights of this game. Incredible!!!

I tore my exterior meniscus on my right knee. I know what you mean. hahaha
Brasil plays Sweden and Argentina plays Egypt next Wednesday. Looks like the Argentina game is at 14:00 eastern.
I read a Velez fan was shot while on the bus ride to a game causing riots and shit. While riots and fights are common, it's sad when shit reaches this point. When will our people learn how to carry themselves in a better manner at these matches! I even have to say I understand Brasilian violence more than Argentine's...
