You dont need someone who is strictly an announcer from a technical standpoint. Maybe you, and everyone for that matter, would appreciate him more if there was a REAL expert in there with him. In ALL sports, there are those who are great an analyzing, and those who are just good talkers. Take for instance the team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Buck can really break shit down, hes a stud. But Aikman is wise, and he has experience, and he just sounds like an ok guy to listen to (And I hated Aikman as a player).

Itd be a real fucking boring show if there were guys just talking technically, and not on the same level as most drunk slugs watching the fight. Lets face is, a lot of these people just like to see people pound it out. Which is why Chuck is so popular, hes not as technical, hes just all knock out. Anyhow, guys like that dude who talks on their level, and seems like a decent guy who represents their crowd. Thats Mr. Fear Factor himself, lol.

I like Bas, I also enjoyed the Frank Trigg and that other guy on the Pride FC shows. There's a funny video of Bas talking us through one of his Pancrase fights with bitch ass Frank Shamrock. It's pretty funny. I'll try to find it.

We'll see how easy he gets off. He will probably just get probation. Hopefully all goes well for the champ. I woulda liked to see the chase in his R8.
