I agree, I just wonder if JDS's experience will help him avoid the same mistakes Lesnar made; not attempting to block the body shots, and avoiding the clinch at all costs.

Edgar at 145 is definitely interesting, but I'd like to see him continue beating on guys that outweigh him by 15lbs :D

I hope JDS plants his signature uppercut on Overeem and leaves him face down on the canvas, but I think it's going to end up being a boxing vs kick-boxing match. I think Overeem's liver kicks (see Lesnar fight) and knees in the clinch (see all recent fights) are going to make the difference. I think Overeem is too smart to try and just stand with JDS. I think we're going to see why he won the K1 trophy.

I think people have more of a desire to see Edgar fight Aldo than a real desire to see him drop indefinitely. I think Edgar would pummel Jose Aldo and rule 145 until he retired if he wanted to. I'd love to see a Faber/Edgar fight at 145 as well.

I've heard people questioning AO's chin, not sure why, but I've read it a couple places :/. Either way, I'm sure it's gonna be an awesome fight!

I'm hoping with Mir's improved standup he'll people to trade with Cain for a while, and not feel pressured to draw guard or attempt some half assed take down etc...

    * and this is bugging me; why the fuck do people keep saying Edgar needs to move down to featherweight?? He's beaten the top of the division multiple times, let him fight where e wants!

As for JDS vs Overeem, I'm calling JDS in the 2nd via TKO or KO
Mir has traditionally struggled against wrestlers. Granted Cain doesn't have the punching power of Carwin or Lesnar, but he sucks in the clinch.

I really like JDS, but I don't see him KOing Overeem. Overeem is arguably the only guy that can stand and box with JDS. I foresee an Über-knee to the abdomen planting dos Santos.

My friend trains Henderson. He said Dan told him he could barely lift his hands by the end. Was totally exhausted. And apparently shoguns face looked fucked at the after party.

    +1 on both accounts.

you get the feeling that you could go have a beer with JDS, I hope he defends his belt a couple times. A fight with Overeem would be awesome, and if its in Brazil I imagine the ground will shake with all the cheering :D
