Rly though, I believe Machida will expose Rashad but I cringe at the thought of a solid hit landing. I can't wait for this fight. Good thing Anderson's next title defense is against another Brasilian. Even though I don't see him beating Silva.

I think the thing rashad has going for him is he doesnt get impatient, and he doesnt press the issue. Thats how he knocked out chuck, chuck got impatient, and Rashad knocked him out. With Forrest he didnt press the issue either, he took what was there. It should be a good fight, but I dont see Rashad losing it.

Just an observation and I think shows just how dominant Brazil is and south america in general. Though of the current champs only 1 is Brazilian.

there are just a lot of good Brasilian fighters. Alot of these fighters also came from the takeover of Pride. MMA has always been a country vs country type of art. Alot of countries have their own style of martial arts. This is common sense. Brasil - Jiu Jitsu, Thailand - Muay Thai, US - boxing, China/Japan - Karate and so forth... I think it makes it alot more interesting and entertaining. The US vs UK has got to be some marketing BS but whatever, bring it on.

Theyre just trying to go as global as possible, obviously. What would be kinda cool (I dont know if Brazil has much money) would be to see a fight in Brazil, or somewhere in south/central america. They certainly have more to offer, especially as far as knowledge goes, than the UK does.

Brasil is easilly in the top 10 economies globally. It doesn't really reflect on the masses though. Brasil will also be hosting the World Cup in 2014. That alone, as you can imagine, is a massive undertaking. It will be our second time to host it. I'm sure they could host a UFC event.

Most people on Sherdog believe Machida will win although Rashad should be a fairly good challenge. One thing is for sure, once he takes the belt from Evans, he'll hold it for a good while.

Ive just liked him since then, you could see him progress. Michida will be a good challenge. He honestly is a scarier match up than Rampage would have been. I still dont see Rashad losing, though. He doesnt press things, and he is patient. Michida better hope he doesnt get a punch landed square on his face, he wont get up.

You must really like Michigan, you keep mispelling Machida with Michida... Once he takes Rashwika to school, you should change from jflip to Michida.
