In light of the SpaceX CRS-7 Launch explosion (looks like the 2nd stage tank got over pressurized somehow)....on another forum I'm on someone posted this video below.

It's a camera (and lights to go with it) *INSIDE* the 2nd stage liquid O2 tank on a different flight. Amazing. Wish NASA would have been giving us all these sweet camera set ups in the past. Anyways...It's cool to see it drain, and then when the 2nd stage engines cut off, it's in zero-g, and you can see how the liquid responds. Very cool stuff.

how do you like the uflymike/bose a13 headset combination in a prop plane. i used to fly with a few guys that used them in regional jets.

I got some pretty good news yesterday, starting a type rating B737NG for a european charter company in October. Pretty pumped after 5 years of flying and instructing piston planes!

When you really need a lot of water on a fire... 7200 gallons, 30 seconds to refill off any large body of water. (Not my pics, but I wish I were up there.)

That is a 1200 mile trip for me, one way. As much as I'd love to see the Mars in action, its just too far. If it comes down here for a fire, I will likely try and find it.

Brussels, which is home, so I'm in luck. I worked for the company for a little over a year on the ground as scheduler, so they're paying my TR now, which is pretty exceptional in Europe these days.
