McCain has a bunker mentality. War is normal for him. He'd start another one because he.... well, he doesn't really know why. It's just the "right" thing to do. The big question about McCain is, "Who is his running mate?" Besides being old, the man has a ton of health problems due to age and his traumatic past. It's probably more important than McCain himself. Especially because of the way people "age" as President. He has white hair going in.

I will not vote. Im not educated in this field, so I will leave it for those who are. And I will just trust the majority of those hip with this election.

You have the right to vote, but it is not a duty or an obligation. I choose not to, and like said earlier, I wish those who were clueless would chose not to as well.

I will be voting for McCain although I'm not totally crazy about that prospect. However, Hillary is just going to be a re-hash of the 90s and Obama is about as liberal is they can get.

What is important to keep in mind is that whoever gets the whitehouse next, there will be two Supreme Court Justice nominations to make - and the last thing I want is some 60s era hippie judge on the bench of the highest court in the land. Also, the President alone can't make shit happen - there's these hurdles called Congress and the House of Representatives. Just so long as you don't have one party holding majority rule in all three then things will be ok. Its when things go all left or all right should you start getting concerned.

I agree. I used to be extremely interested in politics, but after the Republicans pissed away a great opportunity for improvement this past term and Democrats grow farther to the left at an exponential rate i just dont see the point in caring. Politics today is no longer about representing one's state or making important decisions for the Country, but rather pushing for personal power and destroying the reputation of whoever may stand in the way. However, i am hopeful for the future as the younger, more independently minded generation may do something about our worthless two party system.

Also, while there is little i see appealing in any of the candidates, Hillary is above all else a power-hungry maniac, and Obama is a complete n00b. McCain, therefore, is the best we have to choose from, though certainly not my ideal pick for President of our Country.

and mccain, i read through a condensed (yes i know blah blah america is getting so lazy they cant even read up on who theyre voting for) version of his platform and i find it relatively lines up with my views though of course there are some differences, and if i didnt read through everything ida just gone in and voted straight Repub anyway so atleast now i know that would be fine
