Platoon and Saving Private Ryan are my two favorites. Anybody who says Full Metal Jacket is better than Platoon is just plain wrong. I do like the first half though.

Das Boot is my favorite movie period. They actually built a uboat for the film, and filmed inside it. The director also forbade the actors from spending time outside so they would get pale and pasty just like a real uboat crew.
Patton and Enemy at the gates are pretty good as well.1987 325is - sold

i reckon saving private ryan and enemy at the gates are some of the best.
what war movie was the one with clint eastwood in it and they were chazing that huge amount of gold?? thats a classic.
