Hans-Joachim Stuck said “the Scirocco is one of the most uncomplicated racing cars” he’s ever driven.

I think there might be a few smart guys working at VW that might push them over here.

Stuck, a two-time Le Mans champion, will be among the drivers campaigning the pack of three Sciroccos at the race, alongside double world rally champ Carlos Sainz, VW board member Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, three of the four driver's from last year's winning GTI team and a couple of automotive journalists
              Awesome.
Not that I care, of course.

The VW NA people wont want it as it will cut into GTI sales.

Just like us not getting the 4 pot or 5 door versions of the 1 series - too close to the MINI.

Not only is he a representative for VW motorsports now, but the fact that he is still driving is bad ass.

They're damn hot, I'll give you that. I think they look better than the mustang by a long shot after seeing better pics.

Hey, They weren't exactly featherweights back then. 550lbs is an assload of weight. No bones about it. This is an E30 forum, what the hell are we doing justifying 2 ton coupes?

I understand that, but 2 tons? Damn. It's a problem when you start making 3,600 lbs F-bodies look light. Nothing wrong with some ol' pushrod V8 love, but couldn't they atleast attempt to keep the heft down? It kills everything!
