I hope you are talking about the older ones, not the 2000+ crap boxes. Plus, sounds like he is concerned about mpg so a v8 car probably wouldn't be the right choice....

Oddly I did not even consider a single American car.

Could that be because for the most part they leave quite a bit do be desired?

I rented a Cobalt to get to Tucson (cheapest solution 108.00) and it was not awful but I would not buy one.

This was 8k it has 150k but is a long term second owner maintained car that just had it's major service which makes it good for 60k & had it's defective transmission (recall) replaced with a 2006 redesigned unit 10k ago.

Beware the transmissions in these. There is a class action suit & extended 109k/93 month warranty settlement.

First major mod, 05 TL rims. They look as good as I expected. I know it looks like a 4X but I like not stressing the driveways & ruts (I have springs & shocks are ordered)

Awesome car but watch the transmission, TLs and CLs have a shit load of transmission problems.

Yeah as a matter of fact they do asshole. Sorry I didn't read his post about the transmission replacement. I worked at Acura for seven months, my head tech had a TL and it was on its fourth transmission. Everyday it seemed we had a CL or TL getting a transmission replaced.

I never liked the looks of those Acs, but the wheels do look great on it.

Are you planning to mod this Honda over your e30? What's up with that?
