Eh most recessions only last 10 months on average anyway. If you are young definitely get out and enjoy yourself. My time has passed. I wish I had gotten out. Now the longest I can go anywhere is 10 days and that will soon drop to 5.
my advice to you is save up at least 2 months of living expenses before you make your move to the country you select, so you can buy time to find that job that'll pay what you want out of it...
as for which country? there are many angles to see which country you can go to, but the question is, which angle are you looking at it from? do you want to go to a whole different place away from American culture? do you want to go to a place that pays well? do you want to go to a place that is surrounded by your passion in life and potential get a job within that field?
For instance:
1. You can go to Australia, live life comfortably based on the skills you have to offer for a job opportunity, right-hand drive e30s, bboy culture, and get as many bitches & women you want because like many people knows, Australia has 2-3 women for every man, but expensive.
2. You can go to Japan, you've always wanted to go there, jdm right hand drive e30s, many Japanese women that you've always wanted and they'll be a no gamer to you 'cuz you look white and you're american, haha, lots of things to do, bboy culture, very good food, but expensive.
3. Europe, very nice places to choose from, many women, you can country hop if you buy an EU pass, cost of living in many places are expensive due to EU dollars, EU dollars is stronger so if you find a job that pays well then the value is worth more when you come back, bboy culture, 4 2 0 is legal in many places and Amsterdam is like down the street, lol, the closer you are to germany then the cheaper an e30 gets, you can get a right hand drive e30 touring
4. Asia/middle east, cheap cost of living, many women and easy to get, aids and hiv is something you really gotta keep in mind even after wrapping it, a good amount of opportunities (you'll be surprised) but doesn't really pay well, you can try the philippines and work at a call center making close to $30-40k per year (dollars) and the cost of living is hella cheap ($1=44 Pesos); singapore has opportunities too, women are hot, expensive, can't chew gum; vietnam has some opportunites too, israel has some good opportunities and the women are hot and can handle a gun and can dismantle a gun and put it together in in a hot min.,
food is great out there especially the falafel, babaghanoush, hummus, shawarma, damn that makes me hungry, anyways; UAE, there's opportunities out there surprisingly and some pays pretty good, mercedes bens are taxis out there as well as some bmw's; jordan, has opportunities as well and they carry one of the fastest growing western influence so if you start an american business or work for an american business, then it will do good such as a hip hop clothing store, or mcdonalds, or anything american culture per say.
5. Africa, Morocco has some opportunities and they carry one of the best h a s h in the world, lol, many women don't shave their armpits out there, but many of them are hot, haha; south africa, plenty of good looking women and plenty of hailey barry(s) running around, a good amount of opportunities, pretty chill lifestyle,
as for being a Filipino/American who has been traveling the world since the day i was born, i have learned to live life spiritually than thinking what can happen to me if i was in a certain place and at a certain time which creates a negative feeling that attracts such energy and then it actually comes. i have learned to avoid places where i don't need to be. i got discriminated and hated on all my life and grew up with culture shocks, but learned how to deal with it and avoid it. one of the best places i have lived is gaza and herzeliya pituach in palestine and israel; i love it and i miss it. a lot of people will talk shit about other countries and talk shit about its people/culture, but from my experience, such people who talks shit are the one's who have knowledge based on what has been conditioned for them to learn like the media as one instance or biased newspapers or what not and are the ones that have not really done much traveling. the basic thought is we've always been travelers and that's how we learn. unfortunately, we have been stagnant and conditioned by the product of our environments, so all we learn is what is fed to us in our own so-called "silver/gold spoon". all i'm saying is you can pick to live any where around the world and it's going to be the same shit, but different toilet, kna mean? this is why i decided to just stay put in the US, make the money, and spend it when it's about time to travel. i understand that a human being can only take so much shit in life, but the fact of the matter is, you will be taking a different type of shit that you will have to deal with, but it just so happens that it shoots out a different toilet (different country, lifestyle, culture, but has its bullshit). if you are ready to deal with that, then you'll be alright and you can go in any country and you'll survive. you really aren't missing much. if i were you, i'd save up the money and bouce for a couple of months and come back, make more money and bounce for another couple of months or so and maybe work at the place i bounce to, so i can experience what's up... anyhow, you got the point. i got plenty of friends around the world. hit me up on facebook, so you'll see all of where my friends are at and let me know what country you pick, so i can hook you up with them. they'll take care of you, believe it. :D
