you kids and your electronics.... JK
I have owned just about every Tippmann ever made including a Factory FA. The current set up I have used for years is a simple Tippmann 68 Carbine with a Dye Barrel and expansion chamber. It has never let me down. Last year was the first time I purchased something that needed batteries and that was only my hopper. I normally play woods ball.

hell no. SP as an ethical company is a joke. their Shockers are good. But as a company I will have no support for them because they patent even the most basic ideas, put home grown custom parts stores out and don't even feel a bit or regret.

        ??

        Ethical company?

Please they make markers and they are good @ it. If mom and pop stores cant cut it then so be it.

Nothing shoots as nice for such a long time with minimal maintenance. Ive been into paintball

for quite some time now. Mind you i have not played in over 3 years and i can still bet you

that the gun that is shot the most in the nppl is smart parts. You cant beat the lineup.

When they came out with the shocker, freak, and vision it changed the whole game.

Then you say they patent even their dumb ideas.... yeah they are going to patent them

because why they are doing @ that time is revolutionary and new. I cant count how many

companies have knocked off smart parts designs. I guess it just separates the men and the

        boys.

I used to a have a spyder special edition back in the day. custom shortened trigger, bob long regulator, rear cocking bolt, 9 volt revolution loader, 16" all american barrel for woods play and 12" dye boomstick barrel for speedball(which some fucker stole). I wooped everyone's ass with it. Plain and simple.

I recently got back in the scene after dippin out of it 4 years ago. Had no idea what was on the market but a i wanted another gun. I ended up gettin a spyder Electra. 30+ bps with the adjustable rocking trigger and 3 burst, 6 burst, and full auto modes with an adjustable 6-13 bps.
I bought it for 200 bucks. I stomp on guys with guns that cost $600+. Its how you play but for the money, spyders have one hell of a bang for the buck and a hefty list of aftermarket parts to mod and customize. The stock barrels on them are kinda poopy though.
if money was no option, nothing beats the feel of an Automag. Closed bolt design and can handle any kind of weather you throw at it.... and they hurt like hell.

When I say ethical they patent things that have already been made by other companies, ignore the previous patent art and continue to slap suits against other companies. If you want the sport to grow you can't just create a monopoly. They shockers are good but if you haven't played in three years then you have a lot of learning to do. Eclipse is the biggest dealer right now. SP makes the Ion and other crappy guns mainly as their money maker and the shocker is made to keep their sponsored teams. Bob Long isn't down and out, their new vice and marq have the whole scene wondering where they came from. Shockers have they eyes......Bob Long has 4 eyes, pillow bolts, who needs a single eye(the shocker design) when you can have 4?

I've been workin at tc paintball for over six years now and since our team is semi pro in nppl i feel i can speak on this subject. (check us out, tcp machine in NPPL semi pro bracket)

the MR3 kicks ass. but check out the BT line of guns (Ben Tippmann owns BT, Tippmann was bought out and Ben moved on to start over with a new company, better quality and more innovative products as well.)

I currently have a BT-4 for messing with high school friends thats got a apex barrel. it kicks ass. My ego's are nicer but i dont really want to bring em into the woods.
