I started out like most with sweets but have graduated to full on addiction. Not to mention that some of the humidors are awesome too. Here is my latest.

Don't let the price dictate the quality - I've had a good cigar for < $5.

Agreed. Find out if you like a mild stick or a full strength smoke.
There are many sizes, mixed flavors and styles to choose from.
I like the full strength having smoked them for about 28 years. This was something that some of us did before it was the "in thing" to do.

    Some favorites (full strength):

    Padron (# 1 favorite stick)
    Olor
    La Vieja Habana
    CAO (MX2 - double maduro)
    Rocky Patel
    Bahia
    Acid
    Punch
    Gurka
    La Gloria Cubana
Cohiba (the real thing, stashed for special occassions)

Have had many hand rolled from various "torcedores" that are up there.
Best advice is if you are really serious about the experience, then buy some assortments and see what you like.

Gonna go and light one up now :-D

Cigars are delicious! Romeo y Julieta's are good. CAO's are good too!
