I'd kill myself if I drove a Pontiac "Vibe" - This is what happens when you let a 50 year old try to market to a 25 year old.

What's wrong with the commercial? Decent spot, catchy song, shows the product. Pontiac's current ad agency is actually doing a pretty good job.

Have you not watched a commercial in the past, oh, 10 years? It's the ipod technique. Flashy graphics, catchy song, flash the product at the end.
As for the car, it's a rebadged toyota Corolla. Not exactly anything "exciting" to focus on.

-I have to politly disaggree with the OP
-Vibe's aren't crappy, it's a rebadged Matrix, which is just a hatchback Corolla, as stated. Good cars, just nothing too fancy. There are worse cars to own than a Vibe. Now, that being said, I wouldn't own an American-designed car. That EXCLUDES the Vibe and the G8 (an aussie car).
-And both of those commertials aren't half-bad. Not great, but not the worst.1989 cirrisblau-metallic 325iComment

I don't really like GM either, but this is my favorite car commercial besides the Ferrari/Shell commercial.

That new Kia commercial always makes me angry. The one with all the idiots parking on the wrong side of the fuel pump.

Sorry, but any company that produces this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tevP8NOsBQs) advert fails until the end of time.
My biggest beef with Pontiac is that they seem to think that by giving normal GM parts stupid names and slapping on tacky, hideous bumpers their cars will exceed all expectations for any American built car and even rival certain European built cars. And when the going got rough for their company (the 1980's and 1990's,) they didn't strive to make a better vehicle for less money. Instead the rebadged every GM creation they could get their hands on. The same is true today. It seems that every Pontiac built at the moment is some Vauxhall or Holden with a red dart on it. In my opinion, the marketing department seems to be the strongest department at Pontiac at the moment.- Trey
