How often do you go through your "I hate e30's" mood..?

It stopped as soon as I stoped dailying my E30. Driving an E46 / E39 FTMFW day to day.

Hate it, hate it, hate it... currently: 1.) my steering rack leaks (E36 rack on the workbench to swap), 2.) my driveshaft makes some god awful rattle noise when in motion but not accelerating (no vibration - just rattle) - thinking CSB, and 3.) tonight my brake pedal seemed mushy even though I just put in a brand new 750 25mm MC less than a year ago, opened up the resivoir - bone dry...filled up and pedal firm again, possibly the clutch slave???

I hate it! Not to mention the generally bone jarring, spirit crushing ride of the lowered suspension, lack of an air conditioning unit that can actually AIR CONDITION (not broke, just poor design from the factory), sport seat leather that is wearing out by the day, scrathes, dents, and dings...

I used to love working on the car, fixing and upgrading stuff ...now it sucks the life out of me to even change the oil.

Mine is getting better. I was there officially 2 weeks ago. Hence the E46 touring love. But after that, I bit the bullet and installed a bunch of parts I was sitting on. Now the A/C is getting fixed at the shop. Should be in love again. Plus I took those fuckin GC camber plates off, and put factory rubber strut hats back on. Its like smooth butter driving now!

ive been in "the mood" for about a month now. it all started when my engine blew, then a week after i got it running, i got hit on the side, then last weekend, i bent all the exhaust valves. fucking m42 bullshit! then i get it fixed and all the hatredy goes away.

it was. dont ever try to fuck with the adjustable cam gears on your m42. its bad news! i have to redo the head work i did three weeks ago. should be fixed again by friday.

no im not selling it. i figured with the $2500 i got from the guys insurance, i could do quite a bit to it to make it better.

and dvmotorsports, ya, i bent every exhaust valve. i think its because i was in a hurry doing the engine, and the gears were a tooth off, so the six degrees of adjustment was just a bit too much.
