How often do you go through your "I hate e30's" mood..?

    ya. its gonna be done right this time though. i also found out that the e30 m42's have double valve springs, and my e36 engine doesnt, so im gonna take the double springs and install them in my head, that way i can get some cam regrinds and safely rev higher.

      yeah don't forget about the guy in shingle springs that did mine. bitchin' deal. although i don't know how they spin yet as the motor still isn't in.

        thats who i was gonna have do mine, but i forgot their name. what is it again. i only live like 15 mins from shingle springs

              I realize that this is a 4year old thread but while searching to find a resolution to one of my e30s concerns, this thread shows up. How ironic! I really wouldnt say "hate" but not happy with it. Its just asking for more monies! Its not like im going to throw in the towel but it is in my hand.

                I thought I was the only one with residual e30 hate. Well at least the 318i is running. The damn s52 car had the D/S go bad, sheared the guibo bolts from the vibration and fubared the tranny output flange, oh and an oil pan leak. Oil pan leaks suck bad when you are running a G260.

                All in all I'm sick of fixing shit. Fuck it.

                This spring:

                -Install GC coils that have been sitting in my garage for a year
                -Do poly rear bushings/weld-on camber and toe/powder coat rear subframe
                -Redo brakes all around
                -Ignore rust

                Maybe I'll make that Targa NW on May 12th maybe I won't. We'll see.
