Indiana Jones... Spoiler free edition

Just saw it with most of the PNWcrew and it was a good indiana jones movie in my opinion too.
I am not going to go into details because I dont wanna ruin the ending but i found it was pretty far fetched at first. Then i realized the whole saga is like that. The temple of doom was crazy too. I also thought Harrison Ford was spot on "indiana"

Could have done without the retarded monkey vine scene though.
BenDashDash though. He thinks it made the movie.

Temple of Doom wasn't nearly as over the top as this one. Pretty much any scene with Mutt Williams was ridiculous. I was disappointed.

By far the worst movie I have seen all year. So utterly disappointing that it almost ruined awesome day that I was having. To put this into perspective, I got an interview and possibly a job at this winery that I have been interested in for a good half a year, I finished school for the summer and bowled the best game of my life, a 203!!

Thats how bad it was.

Fuck cgi. Fucking fuck it. It is such a fuckin shame that almost no one shoots on real locations anymore. Everyone just decides to say fuck it and take the easy way out.

The plot was garbage. The props were garbage, the crystal skull looked like plastic filled with plastic wrap. The acting was just ok except the Russian girl. The costumes were garbage. The stunts were so over the top that even in fantasy land I could not believe it. I struggle to find any redeeming qualities. Swinging through the jungle like a monkey and the sword fight? C'mon...

The musical score was pretty good.

I give it a 2 out of ten.
And that is considering that the first 3 are some of my favorite movies of all time.

Yeah I agree with you there spot on. Watched all three originals before seeing the midnight showing and I was just not feeling it.

I didn't like the bright blur camera affect to hide the cgi and i didn't like the cheesy lines from Indy about 'way back when' and 'how could you' when his friend back stabs him. I felt like i was watching a between scene movie clip from the Indiana jones game (which I have) .


edit: I did enjoy however being able to understand their mostly spot on Russian :)

Saw it last night and it was just too far out. Like already mentioned the monkeys on the vines scene was just too ridiculous. The funniest part of the movie was when he was getting questioned by the janitor from scrubs, that guy is hilarious.
