Poor Jesse30, I don't think he could hold his own against your eta. His "broken" car must be so slow, being as you have three of his motors laying around. And, I'm sure he is WAY less valued to the e30 community then you are.

It's a great road for torque. No lane crossing and switchbacks yield slow speeds. Much of the time can be spent in lower 2nd gear.

also fidhle, just remember only in your magazine racing calculations of hp/litre
or hp/ton, have you ever in your life raced and beaten a vr4 in your e30 on the fucking highway. I would love to see a video of your cars 80mph to top speed pull, since you decided to open up that can of worms again.

Besides which I don't like the dragon in big cars... it's really for bikes mostly. There are much more enjoyable roads near there for fast cars.

An Integra Type R is everything you mentioned, and is better prepared in every way to handle a road like that then an e30, right from the factory. It would probably do better then a modded e30, actually.

Not everyone wants an all mighty e30. Believe it or not, a Honda, even a VW, MAY BE BETTER THEN AN E30!!! I know, hard to believe, our 20 year old family sedans don't hold the same legacy as a McLaren F1. Who woulda thunk?

And since when does fwd = understeer? Do you think your e30 doesn't understeer, or that swinging the ass end around gets you through a corner faster? I'm very glad you aren't on the same roads as me, that's all I know.
