It's made in mexico, it's fwd, it spends a lot of time at the dealers. It's also funny how a big number of VW fans tend to just lower the shit out of them on stupid cup kits or any other soft springs, bottom out their suspension, go with wide wheels and stretched tires..... ugh. The VR6 does sound amazing though :)

love the sound of VR6s though. but a BMW I6 isn't much of a downgrade in the sound department.;)

a lot of people do the same with BMWs, and use words like "baller" almost as much

[quote=Nic01101011;1083049]they aren't German, and drive like boats. prev car was a mkIV GTI 1.8T(can only imagine how much a VR6 plows and wallows).
I agree they don't handle THAT well, but my first jetta could keep up with my buddies 318is in the turns as well as a '91 G20 N/A which handles AMAZING stock. I had a little weight reduction, coilovers, rear sway, h2 sport spindles(the same as an audi tt), but he has similar mods and power. So, i may agree with the fact that they don't handle well, but they don't handle like a boat. A Cadillac handles like a boat. I've driven bimmers plenty of times, so I do know the difference from a FWD VW compared to a RWD BMW. and yea, they are german.

Green with stock painted black wheels FTL. Sorry but that car is uber boring and borderline ugly even on the other wheels. I do like the shadowlined VW symbol though.Last edited by direction88; 06-02-2008, 08:49 AM."Drifting an E30 is like pouring out a beer just to get a nickel for the can"

Hey u did clean this car up and i give u credit for that..u made it look nice and i respect u for that..keep up the good work and hope u get a e30 soon..:!:Originally posted by Brandon12V View PostIm a little confused....Why do some of you hate mkiv's so much? I know its not a bimmer, but at least its german. It's like the redheaded stepchild to a porsche.lol. And to be honest, yea....It IS a jetta. I'm just asking for respect of the work, not respect of the car. This thread was more to show what I can do to clean things up. I know its not the best lookin car.
