    Not an e30 but........

    Well I've been trying to sell my car to get my first e30 so I've done some work to fix her up! I wrecked my first dub on january 1st after leaving work(black ice and a semi). I thought I'd share what I've done thus far :). I've done nothing to the car cosmetically since I've only had it for 3 1/2 months. Instead, I focused on making it run better.... Also I've started to detail it. Ill share a few pics of the progress and parts... Clutch, 10lb. flywheel, lower transmission mount bushings, t-stat, t-stat housing, repainted the charger pipes, K&N Filter, Cleaned the maf and the throttle body of blow-by oil along with the charger pipes, blacked out font emblem, Fixing the coil pack, New battery on the way...

                  Well I thought this forum would have more of a love for cars in general. Besides, I posted in the off topic lounge. MY BAD. Even a negative comment is better than none at all i guess. Thanks for the replys.

                      And to be honest, Im not really much of a dub guy anymore either. S h i t breaks too often I need to move on to something less heavy. I love the vr though. Probably my favorite sound. lol

                                      Im a little confused....Why do some of you hate mkiv's so much? I know its not a bimmer, but at least its german. It's like the redheaded stepchild to a porsche.lol. And to be honest, yea....It IS a jetta. I'm just asking for respect of the work, not respect of the car. This thread was more to show what I can do to clean things up. I know its not the best lookin car.

                                          cool, sc'd vr's are the tits, a few friends of mine have em. i used to own a mk3 glx vr6 but i sold it for my e30

                                                  basicly its a fwd car. thier isnt many people on here who like them. i mean thats the main tern off for me. my friend has a vr6 that supercahrged and it just rakes accross the ground

                                                          we have sweet spots for mk2s... and have a tendency to frown on mk4s (almost as much as e46s.. lol)
