Last night I worked a regular shift at Taco Mac for which I am a server. The manager was pmsing this week. We get along and joke all the time. She was not in the mood last night and fired me for saying things that are normally ok.

This situation will ALWAYS come back and bite you in the ass. The company I work for has a really hot receptionist, she's like 20 and really fucking cute. She's also pretty good about joking around with all of the guys, and just rolling with it when it starts to get lewd, but I still keep my mouth shut. Because all it takes is one day when she's in a bitchy mood, and then someone says just the smallest wrong thing, and you're fucked.

I worked at John's Creek. My roommate is the GM of woodstock taco mac... its on 92, but there are two on 92.

It is just a stepping stone. The whole thing has helped me move along. I am just glad I have a savings account.

"Sexual harassment" has never been an issue... this manager is a full on dyke. She has hot dyke friends that come in too. Guess what, they all want my cock. Its like when someone says beauty is skin deep, yea ugly people say that... does not apply to you and me.

It is a bummer that this man-chic fired you, but let me try to put a positive spin on this. Your job there was a server - decent employment for just starting off in the 'earn a living' world, but certainly not a career opportunity. My very first job was flippin' burgers at a Wendys for 6 months. I left on good terms but never went back to that line of work again - instead I moved on to work with my dad maintaining his rental properties. To some that might not seem like a real 'step up' in terms of work, but I learned plenty to be handy around the house when shit breaks. While I did that I focused on school then moved on to working in a law firm.

In summary, don't see this firing as a loss. Think of it as a time to raise the bar.
