    Going on vacation!

I figured I'd post this since I will be away for quite some time...

On June 13th, I leave for San Andrés island, located off the coast of Nicaragua in the Caribbean, to live and work for the next 4 months. I am working with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Coralina on their respective websites, as well as helping maintain the ecosystem of the islands.

When I am in Providencia, I plan to help gather vital supplies needed at the local hospital on the island which is in dire need of any and all supplies. My dad and I are hoping we can get them there with little hassle, but it remains to be seen.

I may return later than 4 months, or stay and go back to school, as there is a college on the island itself.

I may visit Jamaica before I return as well.

When I return I am working with my dad on converting two old Mercedes diesel cars to run on vegetable oil! Hopefully I will inherit a 300CD and do some custom stuff since it will be much easier to pay for vegetable oil and diesel!

After that, I'm heading to California next summer of 2009. Obviously some things may change my plans, but that is how my summer is ending up, hence the new sig. :(

I will miss my E30 dearly, I went 12 days without it and I was going nuts! Anyways I'll be on here less, but I'm sure I'll post every once in awhile...

      Good on ya, Dan!

Sounds great. Jamaica is awesome - and no, I don;t just mean resorts and beaches Jamaica. The whole island is amazing - and the people are great. Get some Blue Mountain coffee while you are there.

The Jamaica part of my trip is tentative, I have a friend who lives there and she was nice enough to offer a place to stay while I was there, so I may take her up on that at some point in time!

It sucks because I had a lot of plans for the car that are now on hold. When I return expect that big change I was talking about!

Haha not just Jamaica either...San Andrés has many tourists, mainly German and Canadians oddly enough.

I just finished installing my side mirror delete plate too. I am really gonna miss that damn car.

So I'm bored at work and I just Google Earth'd the island, and I must say, I hate with with every inch of my body :) You get to spend the next 4 months in an island-fucking-paradise.
