Congratulations.
Here is a bit of an abstract question: Do you feel like a different person now? Different outlook on life? More appreciation for what you have?
My step dad recently beat prostate cancer and he definitely changed afterwords (fr the better). He was more calm, nicer and basically just better to be around.

Congrats Robert!
If you find yourself in the desert wanting a beer instead of water you've got a few on me.Comment

Definately much calmer, I never was one to fly off the handle though I might get a little grouchy from time to time still. Mainly I don't let stuff privately get me all worked up inside.Congratulations.

When you find out you have a condition that could potentially kill you, you start to realize what is really important in your life and you tend to worry less about what you cannot control. I definately appreciate life much more, I now know I definately cannot wait to have children.
As for my outlook, I've always been a positive thinker who puts a lot of faith in God. I think that's why I was able to pull through this much faster than the doctor's expected. If anything I pay much more attention to those less fortunate than I especially those with cancer. I'm currently thinking of ways I can chip in to help people in my community who are also fighting cancer.
BTW everyone, don't forget the holidays are coming up. Instead of donating any more money to me please save it up to send to these guys:
I assume a Christmas 2008 Fund will pop up soon.
Watch yourself, I might just pop up and hold you to that. ;)Comment

UPDATE: Treatment #8
Ok, at this point the treatments have made me feel as sick as a dog. Good thing this is the last one.
Went in Thursday and never puked so much during any other treatment. It sucked so bad I cannot describe. My mind is permenantly scared so bad that thinking about my last treatment gives me bouts of nausea.
I start my radiation treatment Oct. 22nd. I seriously hope it is no where near as bad as the chemo.Comment

Hang in there man, Radiation feels like a microwave cooking inside your gut. Ive now been off that for some time and taking low dose chemo via pill form since Christmas.
Keep the faith!Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!
