Dude. What good is running up yards when you need to take care of the ball?

I'm not saying it's awesome. When they take care of the ball it's a killer offense. Mated with a decent defense we'll be an awesome team. Really there's like 2 games that we gave away. We should be 8-5 right now but instead we're 6-7. Such is life - expect a much better team next year.

You said 3rd best offense, true. But you are wrong claiming its the 3rd best offense. IF YOU DO NOT SCORE THE 3RD MOST POINTS, YOU ARE NOT THE THIRD BEST OFFENSE. 23rd Its Pts scored, means youre the 23rd best offense. So lets get this right... if you didnt turn the ball over as much, and if the defense was better, youd be a better team? Stunning revelation. Play d, and protect the ball, and you shall succeed. Why would we expect a better team next year, if there has been nothing positive the Texans have EVER shown? I will expect the same shitty defense, with the same 23rd best offense.

Why are you being a douchebag about this?

          Take it up with NFL.com:
The official source for NFL news, video highlights, fantasy football, game-day coverage, schedules, stats, scores and more.

If they thought points scored meant best offense they wouldn't have set it up like this.

          Lay off the roids....

The first like 6 games we played with a shit running back. Now we have slaton on full time - already over 1000 yards as a rookie. Not to mention shaub was out for like 5 games - i think 4 of which we lost. We're not losing anyone good to free agency so assuming we get some good rookies/free agents to fill in the maybe 4 positions that need to be replaced we'll be damn good.

Oh, and houston is 15th in points scored.

Again, thats not saying theyre the third best offense. That is just saying they get the 3rd most yards per game, which doesnt mean shit if you cant score. I cant search here, but Id like to see where they are with the TO+/- in the league. Id imagine towards the bottom.

Everyone's job should be in jeopardy minus Slaton (I drafted him in my fantasy league, its not like he was a big surprise ;) ), Schaub, AJ, Mario, Demeco, and Dunta.... Maybe even Walter. Everyone else on that team is mediocre at very best. Its fine, its the Texans. It will always be a franchise where your "good" seasons are going .500. And it wasnt the first six games til slaton played. Thatd mean he has 1000 yards in 7 games, and hes not a 2000 yard back.

As far as the roids... maybe you should take SOMETHING to boost that testosterone level =\ Novadex FTW.

lol whatever. Philly isn't shit this year either and probably will get worse for the next 4 years.

Philly is one of the top teams when their shit is together (like your reasoning, right?). Dallas, Was, Chi, and NYG were all closes losses, less than a TD. As far as them getting worse, dont count on that. Unlike Houston, we have a great front office. There are no glaring needs on the team. We have two first round draft picks (Id like to see two at least one OL drafted). The only players getting older are Dawkins, Runyan and Thomas. Dawkins will need a replacement, Runyan will also. We already have Thomas' replacement.

Id like to see philly's second string play Houstons starters. I think we know whod win that.

                  Oh boy.

Terrell Owens apparently thinks that Tony Romo and Jason Witten are scheming to exclude him from the offense, going so far as to suggest that they are having 'secret meetings' to discuss plays and how to get Witten the ball.

And a few interesting stats from the '06 to '08 seasons:

                  Owens
                  Thrown to: 336
                  Receptions: 186
                  Reception %: 55.4

                  Witten
                  Thrown to: 286
                  Receptions: 201
                  Reception %: 70.3

                  Hilarity.

hahaha doesn't surprise me at all. it is true, even though he makes some nice catches, he drops sooo many. granted, he hasn't dropped 45% of those passes, but that number basically means that romo has been forcing the ball to him, and he isnt getting open *enough*.

                      besides, witten is a stud.

TO is a piece of shit loser, and I hate his guts.... BUT, thats only 50 more balls thrown his way over a three year period. Thats around ONE more pass thrown his way per game. Id be on his side, as far as that goes. The #1 WR should get more balls thrown his way than the TE. Wittens catch % is only higher because theyre 5-10 yard routes, as opposed to TO's.

And a team that has only two more wins, but CLEARLY is in a totally different league than that shitty as Houston team. Lets hope they can man up, and beat Chi this year, and save Philly some worry.
