Marshall and Royal isnt an elite duo? Name 2 better duos (2 because boldin and fitz are the obvious #1).

Cutler will have an average season, as will Orton. Orton sucks my dick, and only will have a good season because of the Marshall/Royal duo. But who knows when youre depending on BUCKHALTER as your primary RB, lol. Im curious to see how this tea will fare without shannahan, also.

I think Denver got the better deal when its all said and done. Orton doesnt make much money, and they get 2 first and 1 3rd rounder. They can always go after a QB in free agency next year. Hell, they can package their first rounder this year, along with their second rounder, and move into around #6 or so (or wherever Seattle is drafting), and get Sanchez. Theyd still a #1 this year, and 2 #1s next years. Maybe Denver can draft some fucking DEFENSE with the remaining picks. That way Seattle can reload a little also, since thay have a couple/few years left with Hasselbeck at the helm. Itd be win/win for Seattle and Denver.

I am just glad that a lot of mock drafts have Philly taking Wells or Moreno with pick #21, along with Beatty or Oher at pick #28. Thatd be a very successful draft, teamed up wit the safety from WMU (Forget his name).

seriously. if i were denver, i'd rather draft 2 QBs with the 2 1st round picks the bears gave me and then have the 3 of them battle it out for the starting position. what idiots for trying to trade cutler and then deciding not to. that stuff might work in baseball, but not in football.

^same, Kyle Orton is a very impressive QB, and will have a great season. I'm also surprised how fast Chicago jumped on this deal, of all the teams that need a QB, Chicago, I expected to suck again behind Bad-Rex.

In hindsight, I think it is a good thing that Weaver wasn't asked to come back. He really isn't a blocking fullback, and he won't fit in to the new non-holmgren offense. Plus, from what it looks like Philly was his second choice to Seattle, but they didn't see any value in him.

And there is an interview that I can't find at the moment that shows him referring to himself as "Weave" in the third person. The only person that can really get away with that is Ricky.

And jflip, I think you are right; trading 21 and 28 to get crabtree wouldn't be a good move. There is a very good chance he will be a bust in the NFL. I'm now hoping Seattle doesn't even consider taking him (or trades the pick to philly).

Eagles dont trade draft picks unless its for other draft picks. I dont think Peters is worth more than a second rounder, and throw in a Winston Justice, so Buffalo at least has a fat body to put at LT. A 2nd round pick is a great pick; I dont remember the last time a veteran player has been traded for a first round pick. I would, however, be willing to trade a first round pick for Boldin. I need to be the Eagles' GM, theyd have a Super Bowl championship already.

Watching sports center just now, "Eagles On the Clock" came up. Kiper suggested taking Mike Oher and Beanie Wells. Trent Dilfer suggested trading #21 and #28, geting into the #3 or #4 spot, and taking Michael Crabtree. I think thats a lot to pay for Crabtree, considering Boldins deal with probably only be for one first rounder.

It's kind of sad though since the Bills brought him in as an undrafted TE, and molded him into the Pro Bowl LT that he is today.

His play was subpar last season though, allowing 14 sacks in as many games before he was injured. Yet he still was voted to the Pro Bowl on reputation alone.

Making him the highest LT in the league is asking too much, but I think that if they do trade him to Philly, they should at least try to push for one of your 1st rounders.
