criminals by their very definition aren't going to obey the law. you can't legislate guns out of the hands of criminals. all legislation does is keep law abiding citizens from protecting themselves. See DC, CA, MD, MA, NY...etc.

You know at first that sounds smart, till you actually think about it.

The problem isn't the criminal. It's the "honest" person who is selling or buying guns for the criminals. But again we all know as long as you don't have a Felony, you're an "honest" person right.
