Someone is fucking with my pool.... I need revenge ideas.

As stated, I have a pool in the side yard of my house. Its one of those 3 ft deep inflatable things. Initially someone drained it, so it was like big fuckin deal, fill it back up.

Well last night it went a little further, as someone slashed the side of it. Im planning on buying a new one and filling it up to bait them back in, but I need ideas on how to catch/punish them when they decide to come back. I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete.

Idea #1: Fill the pool up. Wait in our parking lot behind the cars with a golf club for them to show up again. Beat the shit out of said pool slashers.

Idea #2: Build tack strips to put around the pool. To create these, I will take a 4x8 piece of plywood, hammer nails through it, then flip it over so the nails are exposed. Then cover these tack strips with grass. Possibly sharpen the nails too with a bench grinder/file. Surround the pool with said tack strips. (What are the legal reprocussions of this when someone gets really fucked up?)

Im just really pissed off after spending $105 on our pool. Ideas are appreciated.

remember anything you do physically, the person can sue. I would set up a camera. Web cam would work. Film it and turn them into the police. I would not post anything you would do other than maybe some pepper spray. Just keep it off public forums. They have a tendency to come back to haunt ya!

There have been cases where a bugler entered into a house. Got cut up with the glass from the window and then sued for damages. SAD part they won. Just if your ever going to do something against the law, make sure you do it by yourself and never speak about it to anyone. And dont post on public forums where anyone could read later.

I like the tack strip idea, its very passive and wouldn't require you to be there when it happens. Maybe use 1/2 plywood cut into strips, paint them green and then hammer roofing nails throught the other side?

^I'd be careful with nails, I mean a pool is not as important as someone becoming an amputee b/c some rust in the nail fucked up their foot or sumthin. I say catch em red handed and kick the shit of of em (by hand) unless they are bigger than you, then golf club FTW!
