I haven't had that problem with the driveway thankfully, but similarly I'm greatly annoyed by people who pick their kids up from school and figure that since they'll only be 5 minutes they can stop wherever the fuck they want. Last week I was picking up my little cousin from Jr. High and some lady in a black CRV, talking on a cell phone, is stopped right in front of the door at an angle. The parking lot is one direction in the shape of a " ] " with two lanes and parking on either side. She stops right on the corner, blocking both lanes completely and causing traffic to back up all of the way to the street. Because the traffic was backed up, none of the legally parked cars could leave either. We sat in the car for about 10 minutes waiting for her dumb ass to get a clue and move until finally some angry guy stormed up to her window and bitched her out. She reluctantly moved forward unblocking one of the lanes so slowly traffic could trickle out.

If looks could kill, I'd be in jail for first degree murder.

I would think more people would follow these kind of laws, than drug laws but that´s just you maybe.

I would definitely put up a sign warning that vehicles blocking driveway will be towed. You have to throw down the glove sometimes. And if this doesn´t help, tow the bitch.

Josh, am I the only one that finds this a tad overkill?

Afterall, your wife, is running a business out of your home, and people are coming there, not as friends, but as customers. They expect to be able to pull up to a companies doors to conduct their business.

At my local copy/mail shop, I stop in to grab mail and packages a few times a week. The first few spots up front are also where the UPS/Fedsex drivers backup and park. Am I a giant douche for parking there when I roll up for 90 seconds to grab my newly bought items for the e30 because the drivers MIGHT show up while I am there? I dont think so. I pay them money, and I expect service, and part of that includes being able to drive up and park as close as I want.

Granted, it is a bit of a different situation seeing as how its a business out of the home. But its still a business.

Chillax son, there are better things to worry about than how long a lil soccer mom is gonna take. Some people just have common courtesy, others couldnt give a rats ass. I go both ways, depends on who you are. :p

My mom used to do day-care, since I played basketball on the driveway as a kid I would block off the drive way with rope. It pissed off stupid mom's because they "felt" they could park on our driveway because my mom watched there little shit. So the one time some lady parked her car on the driveway when I was playing basketball, she came out to a nice dusty mark on her car from the basketball hitting it...OOOPS!

I would just block off your drive way.

This is what bothers me. Even if his wife does her business att their house, it IS their home. They should respect that.

Did you say you pulled up in front of the ups drivers house or in front of a store! next time pull all the way up to the door and block the owner of the store from entering / leaving and see what he thinks about it. Customer service for a daycar is droping your kid off and picking them up at a reasonable hour, having a clean place, etc... Not blocking the driveway so no one can get to the house. I to run a business but thats not customer service, thats blocking the street for the home owner because they cant concieve of rolling the car 10 feet...

Pisses me off also, We have big trucks pull in and out all the time to the business across the street. they like to park in the road and walk in to the office because it is an extra 50ft from the lot. there have been 6 wrecks due to this but as long as the customer dose not have to walk a little further ( Which is what most of them need ) Who cares about the safty of others. Next time i would move the car 200ft down the street!
