I'd put two saw horses out there so it's impossible to park there. And leave them there all the time.

That would piss me off as well.

We have that shit happen all the fucking time at the shop I work at. The shop is right across the street from an grade school, and the stupid fat fucks that are picking up there stupid fat kids always feel the need to take up every parking space in or around our shop. This includes parking right in front of an OPEN garage door so we can't get cars in and out.

my old roommate had let some douche bag random guy BACK his truck into my carport in the middle of the night (after the bars closed). the pos with open headers woke me up i went to see what the hell it was, waited about 10 min, started pounding on the door and told him he needed to move his truck out of my fucking drive way now or i would slash the fucking tyres! they got up left and went to his house!

in your case though, i would not shit where you eat. let your wife talk to them. if that doesn't fix it. park your own dam car across your own dam driveway. that way you get to have your parking and block them too!

I think I would just be normal and say, "Hey, could you do me a huge favor and park on the street rather than block my driveway? I'd really appreciate it."

Rather than, "you know, you can park on the street when you come rather than in front of the driveway".

You know, i have this problem with parking spaces. Why the fuck people park in front of my apartment building to shade their car under oak and on the other side when the oak is dropping acorns and that cum-like substance? Driver's Ed should include corteous parking somewhere in a long ass chapter that says, you don't block drive ways, you don't take up some one else's parking space, you don't leave your car in front of the grocery store for "1" minute, while standing inline for 10 reading about olsen twins (unless it's playboy, and they're 17). Or people who park in 2 spaces.

My personal joy was, a guy was parked at the back of the slopped Walmart parking lot across like 4 spots, and a shopping cart gently rolled into his car with the wind. God works in mysterious ways.

Next time someone parks their car in your drive way
park yours right behind theirs to block them and then
find yourself something really important to do...checking
new post on R3V for example then they have to ask you
to move your car and this is where you decide how long
they are going to have to wait to get their car back...

                Thats usually what I do.

kind of related, i remember drivers ed telling me that you park 6ft from the edge of any driveway, never in front of it though. same goes (but more distance) for fire stations etc.....

no, parking anywhere near a fire house is plain stupid. they drive 30 ft long, 8 foot wide trucks, i wouldn't risk anything on them being in a rush. then you have women who park in your driveway because of your kids gymnastics and they talk for an hour and don't think to move their car from MY driveway. parking under sappy tree's ftmfl -_-

I feel your pain. I read this and think to myself that if the soccer moms want convenience they should pull IN to the driveway and not waste 2 spaces by parking in front of it! I mean do they think that they are saving your space or what?

One thing that always erks me is when guests of my neighbors park on the apron of the common driveway making it tough for me to get in or back out. The end that is near the street is 1.5 times the width of a car and gradually widens out to 3 car widths at the garage end. If they are too lazy to walk 5 extra steps to park on the street they should at least pull in far enough for me to get through.

Smash the window, pop it into neutral, and push it down the street.

I'm going to need a diagram in MS Paint before I render my decision.

You should TELL them not to park in your driveway. Plain and simple, put up a sign stating no parking violators will be towed. Legally as long as the sign is up you can call a tow truck and have the POS minivan towed.

Or double park and block the mini van in, then proceed to come in the house and make her wait when she is ready to leave, maybe then she'll get it and stop parking there.
