Day's like these make me proud to pay taxes....

I don't know, personally one day a year or a disaster don't mean patriotism to me. There are people in military who don't get to celebrate, and MC just got their tour extended by a month yesterday, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, Iraq.

Wish people would feel the same about US whole year, not just holidays. I want to see random fireworks injuries year around. I want to see Chineese-made flags year around. I want, and 3-day weekends like Utah.

I will just as much of a patriot tomorrow as I am today. Thank you.

No. That has got to be the stupidest fucking thing I've heard in a long time.

Good, I am glad somebody said it. LOL Even in semi jest it was stupid.

Thanks to all who have served and those who went before who had the strength to throw off the chains of a corrupt government. May we never need to do so again, but if we do, grant us the strength of our forefathers.

So what you're saying is that the very document which serves as the foundation to this country is responsible for racial hatred, not the people. You might as well say guns kill people, not the person pulling the trigger. What brilliance.

                      where did he say that?

he's just pointing out the fact that that phrase was complete and utter bullshit when it was written down.
