Never thought I would see this

    Team Obama a la NASCAR.....

I must admit its a creative campaign move - even though I really don't support the guy. Question is: how will this reflect upon him if he's claims to be the candidate with the best environmental policy? The greenies out there hate cars....and car racing even more. The carbon footprint for his campaign efforts will grow exponentially :-P

What do you think....good idea? Bad idea? Don't give-a-shit?

Good idea. Rednecks outnumber greenies. Besides, who else will they vote for?

So they are going to run this car in PA. I don't know about the rest of the state. But Obama is not well liked around this area. Evenmore so after the comment about "small towns".

"It's a phenomenal move," he said. "We feel that this is going to impact this sport like never before and bring more attention to this sport from a minority perspective."

            Again with the race BS.

It is a good idea for exposure but I don't see this helping him. Not all exposure is good exposure. But since he's not using the public financing system for his campaign, he's got/going to have a ton of cash to throw around.

So let me get this right, you get a bunch of right wing nuts watching a race with a car that's going left the whole time and some how you get them stop routing for you to crash and actually vote for you.......GOOD LUCK!

... and Obama fell even farther down my "respect for politicans" list. NASCAR really goes against everything I've heard him say so far. It'd be like John McCain at a Jimmy Buffett concert or Hilary buying a gun.

What better way to get blacks into nascar than put a face on the hood? if it was this easy, back in 60's they would love tying blacks all around their cars.

                      Very low.

I love Nascar, and I want Obama's campaign to stay out of it.

I agree with everything thats been said, how does anything that Obama's campaign align with have to do with 43 cars, all burning gas at a rate of 4-5 miles per gallon, and using up 16-20 tires per race? Nascar is perhaps the most gluttonous use of Petroleum based products that man could conjur up, and Obama wants to put his name all over it.

                          What a crock of shit.

Obama didn't come up with that crap.

BAM Racing asked Obama to sponsor its car. Obama's campaign didn't have anything to do with it, and has declined their offer.
