Misinformation still works wonders on 52% of America.

    It's excellent strategery.

I wasn't sure, I thought it might be the GTGs that the democratic congress has come up with to get that 8% aproval rating. My bad, I was wrong.

Funny thing about that 8% Democratic Congress approval rating - the Republican part of that Democratic Congress is getting even lower ratings.

              From the same Rasmussen source:

Found you link with the quote, I don't think we are talking about the same thing.

                  We aren't?

The report doesn't state that more people would choose a Democratic Congressional candidate over a Republican?

Democrats continue to lead Republicans by double-digits in the Rasmussen Reports generic congressional ballot. When given the choice, 47% of voters nationwide would vote for their district’s Democratic candidate, while 34% would choose their Republican candidate.

No, the poll is two different questions.

One, are you happy with your congress critter. We all know that one crititer does not an organization make or does one really do much as far as how congress is functioning for the good of the country.

The other is how well is it ( congress ) is functioning for the good of us.

I wouldn't expect a fine educated lefty ( such as yourself ) to understand the difference so don't sweat it. You know the lack of liberal logic and all.

Yeah controled by the Democrats, I believe that is why the Speaker of the House is a dem and so is the Majority leader in the Senate.

Are you trying to change facts here that the Dems don't control both of them.

It's an even split in the Senate, and a simple majority in the House.

It's not even close to a veto-proof majority.

It will be after the next election, though. ;)

Do you have a point here, anywhere, do you even remember where this started. Oh that's right after a mispelled word you decided to use a standard bush bashing response in order to be clever, which you may have noticed didn't work out very well as you showed you lack of knowledge about the whole process of how logic and congress works. I believe I will retract my " fine educated lefty " because it sadly does no apply to you. You may still consider yourself a lefty though, congratulations the party will be proud of you comrade.

And BTW next time to avoid the mix up, the common usage of " congress " means both the HOR and the Senate, if you want to pick one or the other please use it's proper name.
