    sadly it is not my deck. i only made it with the help of a coworker. there for i don't know the grand total, but i do know that just the cedar wood (i hope i spelled cedar right!) was in the high $8000 range. you could do it for cheaper if you used redwood i think.
    wood prices are going up and up because of high fuel prices.

    i only worked on it. i have no idea of the grand total of deck, but i know that just the cedar wood (i hope a spelled cedar right this time!) was about $8000 if not a bit more. you could do it for cheaper if you wanted to use redwood. with fuel costing a lot wood prices are going up up up because of transportation.

    if you like doing that kind of work its a great idea! you save a lot of $ doing it your self, and hits lots of fun!!!

    well its not actually mine. but the wood we used was really expensive. there is about 8 grand just in wood on that deck. then the cost of all the other stuff and labor! i don't want to know how much these people payed for it! lets just say there are probably 4-5 s52 swaps in there :D

    hahaha. i would love to but school starts soon. its not that hard. just do some reading. as long as you can cut strait with a skill saw and use a drill, your good to go!
