Lol, proof of a theory. There goes some one who took science at a christian private school.
I think religion belongs in schools. As a subject, not as faith. One way to get well-rounded individuals to come out of our public schools, is to teach kids different theologies out there, and acceptance. Instead Texas will preach Bible to those who sign up, and allow the rest to be looked down at.
This can't end well.
Also, in HS, i took statistics just because there a whole lot of hot chicks in that class. If this happens in that class, then we're screwed as a nation.Comment

First of all I dont have to prove shit to you, if you choose to think that science claims to know everything, that's your own fault. Science is the study of the natural world through the scientific method, not a different religion.
Would you also like some proof of the theory of gravity, or the theory that the earth revolves around the sun. The term theory as used in science simply means that it is something that cannot be tested. not that some bullshit idea put together by a bunch of idiots and crazy people like "intelligent design".
Why dont you prove to me the existence of some dude in the sky that did such a shitty job of creating all of this.

If this guy did such a shitty job, why not just end yourself now, it's not gonna get any better with your outlook.
And who said He was "in the sky" ? Show me proof of the claim that He is in the sky.
EDIT: hahaha the fukin theory of gravity....Classic.Comment

OMG this is getting retarded.
Bottom line - It's up to christians to prove the existence of God. It's not the atheist's responsibility to disprove something that can't be proven in the first place.
The study of religion belongs in school so long as it isn't biased and it is all inclusive.
Theory belongs in school. The omission of theories would slow down science to a crawl.
Farbin - as far as I know there is no proof of anything having to do with God. Sorry."We praise or find fault, depending on which of the two provides more opportunity for our powers of judgement to shine."Comment

I feel that some people need some type of faith in their lives. I do not, and because of that I choose to not partake in any religion. I also don't bash it, That is unless someone is trying to MAKE me believe in something. In that case I cant help but pick apart what a person is saying.
Should it be in school? Absolutely not.Comment

What's not getting any better the design of the human body? I'm well aware of that. My point is that if everything was designed by an all knowing being it would work a lot better.
Why do salamanders that only live in caves and never see any light have eyes yet are blind? If they were designed for that why even have eyes? How about some snakes that have the remnants of limbs, if they were designed to have no legs why would they have remnants?
Why don't you prove to me that the earth is under 10,000 years, or that the dinosaurs never existed.
