Dubya has tax-cut us into the poorhouse (to the tune of $490 BILLION in '09).

It's not the tax cuts that is responsible for the increased deficit, like you said just a few posts ago. And it's not just the war in Iraq that is the cause of spending increases either. Old people are expensive to maintain.

It's funny how so many liberals call themselves "moderates". It is just one more way to shift the boundaries of reality a little further to the left all the time.

He stated unequivocally that he WOULD NOT RAISE TAXES, and now he's changed his stance.

see, look how things would have been if spending was only growing at the rate between 82 and 01 or 92 and 01... there would be a surplus now and for the last year or two.
