It has an attic.

We simply don't need/want a basement. Just not necessary and just space we don't need. This house will have space to expand with a family and someplace we can stay in for a good while.

Next house will probably have a basement but not now. I don't like to have the monster house with all this space that no one ever uses. Just not my style.

My wife leaves me alone for the most part and the best thing is she is a 2nd grade teacher. For 9 months out of the year she goes to bed at 9pm :)
