If you don't mind me asking are you building yourself? If not, who's your builder?

Took a floor plan and made some changes, pretty big ones and he is very accommodating and we were excited to find that out! Moved the fireplace and added a wall amongst other items!

Granite's a pain in the ass to maintain, go with quartz.

That appears to be a good sized lot.....just how much dirt ya got there? Having all those trees along the back property line is nice too. Congrats on the new build! :-)

no way, all you need is a $5 bottle of cleaner/polish. ours actually looks better now than it did when we moved in. I don't think I could ever go back to a laminate countertop - yech.

Well it actually is a funny story. We wanted Caesar Stone and in the original selection we went with that. Builder found out our choice was on backorder and was tired of that vendor and dropped them. We got a free upgrade to granite. I will deal with the maintenance :)

I need to check and confirm. The trees are protected by the city. Can only be removed if they are dead and we have that HUGE tree in our backyard :) It is a pie shaped lot so will give us some room.

Explain. We had the builder NOT install ANY of that crappy wire shelving in ANY of the closets. My mom is an interior decorator so we get discounts here and there and whatever but I am open to whatever. Offer discounts to decorators and we can probably make something happen :)

I am not too worried about it at all. Will make it look nice and require some work. No big deal.

I actually work for the company that manufactures the wire. If installed on a shelftrack system it is much better than most people are used to. We also make laminate as well. If your mom is an ID, you should be fine. Here is one of the closets in my bedroom, it hangs from the same track system as the wire.

If you know your dimensions you can play with the VSP (visual storage planner) on our website, and design all your closets down to storage in your garage, and pantry.
