I didn't mean to fire any animosity over Mr. Anderson's bow with the picture post.

Not that I care, of course.

what makes us feel like losers for not getting wrecked out of our minds?
im totally straight but i had my days as a youth. this isnt a lot different from the ghetto culture where its hip to be a fucking uneducated piece of shit that cant speak fluently. it sure would be nice to see a world where educated kids who choose to not do drugs and live a good life be considered cool. i have no problems with drinking in fact i have no problems with moderation in anything. this world is just fucked up
I completely agree. I felt that way because except for my true friends, I was always getting made fun of for not wanting to drink, getting called a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles because I wouldn't smoke weed, and so on and so forth. And I could never understand why NOT wanting to do things that were going to fuck me up and cause me problems made me an outcast. And I that's what's so wrong with so many youth today. They're made to feel this way because they don't do those things, so they have to to fit in. And as I've gotten only, I've only seen it get worse.

Yeah, there's a lot of those kids around here... they're usually the ones that sell out the fastest. You can tell because they're the ones that get into it for the fashion.

I don't know if the kids really "sell out" as much as "they give up".

Wait. Who was trying to get you to smoke weed, and then calling you a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles for not trying it? I mean, if anything, one less person on the bowl is a good thing.

All of my friends were stoners in high school. They would hotbox my friends room while I was playing videogames upstairs. They'd try to get me to smoke it sometimes, just because they were messing around, but they never pushed too hard.

I eventually tried weed, but it was like five years later and I'm glad I got it out of the way. I can't smoke weed anymore, due to my job. Whatever. Weed is so overrated. It really needs to be legalized so we can just move on.

blunt is right: moderation is something that is TOTALLY lost to the world.
Not that I care, of course.

We should start a 12 step catch all group in here...

                No... Bad idea.

That would be an ugly out of control meeting...

You guys must hang around a bunch of assholes. All of my friends, whom I believe all drink, and a lot smoke weed, don't have a problem with people who don't drink, they don't think of them as less cool. And if they ever give someone a hard time, or call them a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, for not doing something, they aren't serious.

I'm all for drinking and even some drugs...

As long as it's not me that's doing it...

If it works for you... Great.

I'm straightedge, but I don't go around telling anyone.

I kind of dislike the stigma that comes with the tag of straightedge, people think your in it for the fashion like Josh said.

                      I just say I don't drink/smoke.

holy back from the dead thread!! And I thought it was all about tattoos..

To me, there are 2 kinds of tattoos, those that look like shit, and those that will look like shit in the future- it might be 6 months from now, might be 60 years from now, but it WILL look like shit someday.

I'm all for individuality, blah, blah, blah- but to me it's just ignorant.

And now, for some of my faves:

Ahh, we'll keep your job application on file and let you know if anything becomes available, thank you for your time.

                        orly?

                        nice bush

Maybe my all time favorite (yes, I know it's p-chopped):

                        5 o'clock shadow?

My only problem with all this is that the 'straightedge' folk love to adamantly preach that it is impossible for a single person to display all three attributes highlighted above.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Yeah, all of them. It's ok, I'm not mad. You're just your typical person who doesn't know what they're talking about, coming up with a stereotype based on what you think you know.
