Yea, thats understandable, which is why some animals are slaughtered with a bolt gun or something right to the head.

PETA is just all about not eating meat all together, but i'm pretty sure we'd all be sick as fuck if we didn't eat meat nowa days.

What I enjoy about observing PETA making news is that these folks are on the extreme end of the spectrum. Their claims and reactions to a given event are so absurd it's laughable. And this goes for anyone on either side of the political spectrum. When you are way out there on the fringes - left or right - you do nothing more than successfully accomplish the task of making yourself appear as a complete buffoon. The logical, common-sensical, grounded-in-reality folk are at the center or just off to either side to a reasonable degree.

I do believe animals should be treated humanely, but I don't believe they have rights (again...just absurd). And I agree with George, if you're going to kill something for consumption, make it swift & quick.

how do you figure? last i checked there are plenty of healthy vegetarians roaming the planet. but i do agree peta is stupid. i myself usually refuse to eat a meal unless meat of some sort (preferably red) is included in it. I can't imagine being veggie but there's no doubt it can be done.
