Cooking pre-made food and keeping things clean isn't skilled labor, thats why they get paid shit for it and thats why they treat their job like shit.

Don't like it, don't eat there. Problem solved! Like my favorite economics teacher used to say, vote with your dollar.

Honestly, as long as it doesn't make me sick, tastes good and I don't know about it, they can do anything they want to my food. Ignorance is bliss in cases like these.

All that aside though, that is pretty nasty, but I agree with TopOfTheLine. They don't serve stuff on plates or anything, so practically nothing touches the food. Then again, if they are doing shit like this, who knows what else they are/aren't doing.

David... Enjoy your microwaved morning star farms veggie burger that is as expensive as buying a box of 4 from the grocery store. I am a vegan and a chef, and all I have to say is if you think that story is fucked up...

I did this for about a month. Lost 12 lbs without doing any exercise, took 20 pts off my blood pressure. It's just difficult to keep up with when you're not cooking at home.

I ate a lot of organic long grain brown rice dishes. Lots of fruits/veggies/whole grains. Vegan obviously is not dairy, so I drank soy milk and had other soy substitutes. You can get very creative with rice as your base to a meal. if it grows in the ground, and doesn't come from an animal; it's fair game. I think most vegans are against processed or canned veggies, but in my circumstance it wasn't always possible to have fresh veggies. So i went with canned on a lot of instances... but I figured some rinced low sodium canned veggies are a hell of a lot better compared to a BK value meal. My roomate at the time bought a vegan cookbook (he was the one who turned me on to this whole idea) and was making a whole bunch of stuff in the crock pot, steamer, etc. Some of it was REALLY good... like the vegan mac n' cheese that didn't have cheese? that shit was amazing, seriously.

I was always curious about tips for eating on the go and things like that. we have a local chain of vegan cafe's here in town, but they are damned expensive.

I love beef, but I can't argue with how much better I felt on that diet. I mean you lose weight like it's no ones business, you can eat basically as much as you want any time you want to, and you generally feel awesome. I took 3 minutes off my 10k time in that same period without training any more/differently.

Then summer comes around, and dead animals on grills were too tempting. So I ate them.

^what he said, although might i suggest dishes that revolve around beans as well. Beans are an extremely filling protein. There is a vegan cafe directly around the corner from my apartment, so eating on the go usually hasn't been a problem. Also, down the street from me is a Whole Foods organic supermarket, and they are very veg friendly.

Sorry to have gotten so far off topic. But fuck BK. I haven't eaten fast food in probably 2 years, it made me feel so much better.
