US is not going to try to sustain this war. We're going to try and and pay Turks,Iranians, and Chechens. Seeing how brutal and coordinated Russian invasion was, I really doubt anything will be in their way. I guess planning makes a huge difference when invading foreign countries.

By the way, Georgia was forced to sign a treaty yesterday, if they don't break truce like the first time, they may still have some buildings left.

yeah this stuff is gettin creepy. Why does the US always try to stick its nose in everyones business.

I said this about the war in Iraq after 9/11. It was another Vietnam coming from a mile away..unfortunatley everyone was so amped up about terrorism and killing al-quiada or wtf they are...so someone had to be a scape goat. Now here we are 5 years later, and nothing to show for it cept people gettin blown up every day.

Im sure its a different story over there, but we all know how the media likes to stir things up.

Same thing happened in `Nam...we got our asses kicked in the first half, then started really turning the tables in the 70s. Thanks to the politicians in Washington, we weren`t able to strike anything that had a red cross on it...so what did the NVA do...they painted crosses on top of everything they could...we could only stand there and watch trains and trucks get piled full of SAMs, AAA stuff and weapons. The shipping harbors were off limits for 6-7 years, and if we would have been able to cut the harbor off back then, before Washington declared it off limits, we would have eliminated their forces and saved a lot of lives instead of dragging it on for 15 years.

We eventually did force them back to the table for a treaty, but once we left, they violated all the treaties and moved back into South Vietnam once we were gone....so all that work for 15 years for nothing.

I know its a bit OT from the whole Georgia situation, but if we get involved there, its over for us..our economy is gonna take another big hit.

And I didnt vote Bush either. Hes a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles that has done nothing but undo all the work that Clinton did in his 8 years. Took all our friends and turned them against us.

Yeah.....I disagree. But I feel it would get too heated if we turned this into a debate so I will just leave it as that.

people like you ^^^^, upset me. Mainly because you just ranted for a few paragraphs, showed no insight into the current situation, offered no solution, and that is a weak attempt to preach from history.

I still don't see how people attack Bush every damn things that happens. To me those are the sheep. They feel betrayed, but didn't do jack shit to change anything themselves. Clinton didn't care about making friends, he just did what was in selfish interest of our country, he pissed off a lot of people too. Between Supreme Court, Congress, and presidents office, Bush takes all the shit, from every side. I don't support his actions, but people who blame everything on him are just dumbasses.

When Bush took office he ws in great shape, rode his bike, ran and looked like a man his age should. Look at him today, he's all gray and wrinkled, looks like his mother. This presidency wasn't easy on him, and I say it probably shortened his life by good 20 years. He got elected into a job he wasn't ready for by people. That's what people get. I know for a fact that if every one who could vote would vote, Gore would be finishing off his second term right now. That's not what happened, democrats are procrastinators, and have no one to blame for it but themselves.

Leave Bush alone, if you want to make a change, start following local elections, that's where morons like Bush come out from. maybe don't elect Elizabeth Dole or John Edwards into congress (personal beef). Maybe discuss politics with people around you and explain your point of view. And get pissed when some one thinks different from you. Like Lair and RHW guy.

I didn't reply to your post, but you felt it necessary to attack me.
