Volkls FTMFW, I love my 4 stars!
And I ski because I tried snowboarding and hated it.

Line Maverick twintips here. I need a new pair this year, something twintip, but with all mtn capability.

      Any suggestions?

I have some Atomic R9's that I absolutely adore. Marker bindings... the whole lot. Skiing is so ridiculously fun. WHERES THAT SNOW?

hell yeah guys! skiing is my life. haha. as for the twintip all mountain skis, i dont really know anything about skis except for racing skis. i have those K2s cause i demoed them one day and loved them. although they are VERY soft. i would recommend anything Fischer.

just had to quote it so it can't go anywhere. ;)

            ...always trying, but never quite.............

skiing is easy, and consequently that much less rewarding :borg:

skiing is the original snow mtn sport. snowboarding is a derivation of the sport, but these snowboarding assclowns continue to act like they own the mountain.

I get made fun of by my friends for skiing, but I couldnt imagine switching to boarding. I definately get unlimited satisfaction from skiing.

Völkl Funcarvers for me. I've never been a boarder, not coordinated enough to trust both of my feet to one plank.

Here's a old pic of my latest foils before they get shredded:

I'll post up some other shots and stuff later
I'm a fucking addict, and when you work in a ski shop for a year and a half, you accumulate some cool old school stuff. ..
Not to mention my Parents both love skiing, in fact they met while skiing!

ok, when you think skiing is to easy, obviously you've never skiied challenging terrain. the same goes with snowboarding. both aren't easy if you're on challenging terrain, whether its crazy conditions, powder, parks, whatever. i have nothing against snowboarding, only snowboarders who act like they're the shit. and if it wasnt for snowboarding, we wouldn't have shaped skis right now. well, maybe.

I hate snow boarder "obstacles" when they get too tired from faceplanting and sit down in the middle of the path to rest...

My skis are a bit old-school...stainless Volants with some racing bindings that I picked up cheap (bindings are overboard for the skis, but I got a "last year's model" clearance deal that were cheaper than regular bindings). Got a super-comfortable set of Nordica/Benetton boots to go with them.

It's been too long since I've been skiing - I need to go this year.

Ditto, that pisses me off too. Its like really, how long does it take you to strap into your bindings, or are you too busy discussing how sick your new Burton jacket is?

Get your shit ready or GTFO of the slope.
