Yeah I'm old, stfu, listening to that shit sure took me back.

I have like 5K vinyl in my basement I need to go through, but am afraid of, may cause a mid-life crisis or something.

    Enjoy

Oh yeah, another old fucker in the house!

All that shit was so cool, so different back then. Eric B and Rakim, even Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Marley Marl, Slick Rick (kids thought Cinderfella was done by Snoop, WTF?) and all those old samples...then it got ruined by Ice Ice Baby making all that damn money, then all the sudden rap was everywhere.

    Closing SOON!

^^ Organized Konfusion is so dope.

Wow. I'm so glad I found this thread...
ALL I ever listen to PERIOD...is golden age era hip-hop.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but there's this awesome blog I used to check out to get my cd cover images from (and download albums...only about 2/3rds of the download links are still valid....).

        Here it is...

A blog for hip hop and rap from the period 1992-1996

          Y'know who I miss? FatLip.

Nothing but a track or two since 2000.

Pharcyde kicked ass, but FatLip was the deal.

If you like Pharcyde, check out Anotha Level (album...on anotha level) they were huge fans of Pharcyde too, featured them in a couple tracks, and pretty much have that same chill vibe/sound to 'em).

Back in middle school was when I got really into rap, and the more bass the better! This was back around 1987/88 when mini-trucks full of woofers were to me and my friends, the coolest things we could think of.
