Isn't there a AWD version of the euro focus, I seem to recall topgear doing a review of one. The ST model or something like that?

I just asked my wife what she thought about one of those cars. Her reply...."It's a Ford??"

But Ford seriously needs new cars that look and perform much better than the shit they have now.

It's about time Ford figured out how to use there Rally program better. The car looks amazing and I bet it's pretty solid. It's a shame that they are just figuring out what every other WRC manufacturer has figured out years ago.

Ford executives, like all other American auto companies have been fucking up for decades. It's hurting our country and I’m sick of it. I grew up around muscle cars due to it being my father and grandfathers cars. Throughout my entire life, I’ve wanted to stand proud behind the cars our country makes, but instead I’ve had to look overseas for a quality product. It really sickens me.

Has anyone else noticed the GM commercials where they have cars sitting in traffic, with quotations like "I deserve better MPG" etc... Then they bust out Avalanches and Tahoes and say "20 MPG HWY in the Tahoe". They still don't get it.

My brother and father consistantly get 20mpg in there silverado's with the 4 speed auto's on the freeway.... Name many other manufactures that have 4000+ lb vehicles that can do that and haul/carry what trucks can do.

Right now is the time to buy a truck, you can get the 50% off and spend that savings on gas and still do just fine. What American car makers don't get is how to make quality and bargins go hand and hand like the Japanese. As for the Ford Focus, Ford NA honestly believes that would steal sales from the Mustang, which I doubt because Mustang owners are pretty damn loyal and like rwd.

The real thing is that only 2% of people who own trucks actually NEED them.

The focus RS looks like a great piece of kit but I have a feeling its going to miss the mark (Sti's/ Evos) But in my books any fast ford is awesome, maybe one day we can have it over here....

Fyi... the old RS and ST were both fwd.

                              A-freakin'-men brother.

There's a great example of this a few doors down the street from me. The owner is an old guy......I mean really old, like 75+ and he looks old enough to outdate dirt itself. At any rate, this guy does not work (i.e. retired), does not have any sort of a trailer to tow or "stuff" to haul, yet he has two....not one, but two......3/4 ton, supercab, diesel 4x4 pickups. One a Ford, the other a Dodge. Both silver metalic. Why he has these for daily drivers is beyond me

At that age its probably the easiest vehicle to get in and out of for him and he probably feels safe.
