By "Randy", I assume he means Randy Rhoads, and that he really meant Cliff Burton.

But I could be smoking rock again.

That's the first thing I thought, Kirk broke out his B-bender again.

That being said, this is an awesome picture:

    A. Downloading a Metallica song is very ironic and strangely amusing.

    B. I stole mine off limewire

I will also remain cautiously optimistic. I don't want to believe that they would keep making shit like St. Anger.

I'm going to have to throw Ride the Lightning in when I get in the car just for shits.

    :(

Don't get my hopes up for this. It hurts too much to have them come crashing down yet again.

Sad. I love them and all, but maybe they should pack it in and enjoy their mansions and yachts and shit. Its been harder for me to take them seriously as a metal band the last 10 years. And I absolutely love Metallica, definitely one of my favorite bands of all time, and thats a real compliment. I just finished reading a feature on them in Q magazine and it says that they do yoga and stay in different countries during tours (COUNTRIES, not hotels). Usually I wouldnt care about that shit, but its painfully apparent that its affecting their music. Or maybe theyre just not as hungry as they were when they were younger. Maybe its just nature. To no fault of their own but most people soften up as they get older (Ice Cube doing family bullshit kid movies, various artists and groups losing their bite after years, etc.)

Holy fuck that single is a large disappointment. I was expecting a quick brash of old-skool style riffs, not this clean shit.fuck. This album is gonna suck. That shit song might as well be "Unforgiven 3"

How odd that the latest Neil Diamond album was done by Rubin, too.
