    How Porsche tests dry-sump systems

This 6-axis test rig simulates laps around the Nurburgring, allowing Porsche to test their dry sump systems and check for oil starvation issues. I thought it was pretty fucking cool:

Sounds beautiful. On a similar note, it sounds like their new PDK (dual clutch) gearbox is supposed to be leagues better than comparable dual clutch systems from VAG and BMW.

That's one way to do it I guess. lol

On a side note, when I clicked the link, it took me to a video of a SC Elise, not the engine thing. I had to click on the thumbnail below to go to it.

Same with me, but then I noticed that the link didn't change from the SC Elise video to the Porsche video.

Good to know, I copied the URL strait from the Porsche video but it looks like the URLs are the same no mater what you're viewing. So everyone click on the Porsche Engine Test video in the lower right corner

I wish BMW did the same when developing the M20 so I don't have to find out the hard way just how a long sweeping left-hander and can cause oil starvation (not that its happened to me.....yet).
