firefox 3 has been out longer than that.

so far my chrome complaints are:

no ad-block like firefox, and no separate search bar like firefox with customizable search engine choices. also in firefox i have a mail notifier plug-in, and forecastfox for weather. you cant move around buttons, either. once equivalent plug-ins are added, then i am sold i guess.

Well it doesnt matter how long its been out. Firefox is still a better browser, right now at least. And IE is a better browser than that as far as technology goes.

IE8 so far has been great for me (demo). Chrome is fucking up non stop for me (using it right now at work) jsut to browse r3V. It wont keep me logged in. Keeps throwing errors at me when I post.

Weird, I'm not having that problem at all. What OS are you running? I've got XP.

DUDE, i just installed Google Chrome. Its really fucking fast and imports everything over. They don't have many addins b/c Google made it to be a fast, clean browser. If you want something with a more creative UI, stick with Firefox3, just as good for what you need done.

No more outrageous toolbar at the top of the screen either!!

I miss not having the most visited pages like FF3 as well. I use that shit all the damn time.

This is my blog for all the fucked up shit I've encountered while using this piece of shit..

                    CHeck out what BGR posted...
"Every time Google drops a new product, the internets go wild with excitement, speculation, and general madness. All of this hoopla is generally for good reason, as the boys down in Mountain View have a history of rolling out revolutionary services that quickly gain ubiquitous presence in our everyday lives. The recent introduction of the Chrome browser was no exception to this rule, though if the EULA is any indication of Google’s plans, we might want to hold off on wide-scale adoption. According to several clauses in the user license, Google assumes ownership of anything you post, publish, and/or create while using their new browser. Sound fishy? Check this out: “By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.” We can’t think of any reason why this would be a necessary step for Google to take, and its inclusion raises a serious red flag about the company’s intentions, especially considering their well known “Don’t be evil” motto. Peep the sections after the jump courtesy of the fine folks over at Gizmodo, and sound off here in the comments."

So far I cant (without tweaking):
-Upload photos into Photobucket. Gives an APP 404 Error. I can create folders
-I cant use my Dell online Premier tech access. It doesnt accept whatever script needs to run.
-Stay logged into R3V, or post threads without relogging back in after a timeout of 10 minutes ~ or more
-When Chrome is maximized, I cant get my Windows toolbar to pull up because I have it hiding itself when not in use. When its always showing, its fine. Big inconvienence.

You guys do realize this is a first beta and only came out yesterday. Also nobody should care about features at this point as it will come with time this is a first dry run for them to test out the base, this is built on webkit and uses gears so it has huge expandability as far as plug ins and add ons go.
Also the main point that is being missed is this is a a multy processing browser build from the ground up, first of its kind. From what i have read on google's site so far with this infrastructure it would not surprise me if google could run this as a full fledged os. Since in the back it has the same structure and process allocation as a real OS such as windows or linux.

Of course we realize it. What, we're not allowed to point out bugs and problems? Community feedback is what makes or breaks software like this, and that's precisely what everyone is doing now. Don't silence the naysayers in this case, make them speak up.

Just don't ride google's nuts from day 1.

I am not talking about the bug complaints, the bug complaints are great and are a developers dream/nightmare.
I am speaking of people complaining that this does not have enough add-ons or features.

Update: It was a copy & paste mistake, apparently, and the offending language is being removed as we speak. Thanks, Googe!
