Got it working. I like the set up and loads pretty fast for vista. Still getting use to it tho. Comes with spell check for r3v LOL

Damn, resurrecting a thread from the dead...

Is anyone else using the Chrome beta? They just came out with a new update, and it's running an entirely new Java script engine and is WAY faster.

I was using the beta until they incorporated the full HTML 5 support into the regular build last week.

Ive been using it off and on for a while at home, its been OK. Its probably been the worst browser I've used lately as far as compatibility on pages best viewed in IE. Aka everything I do for work.
Firefox is still the best browser in the world, in almost every aspect. Not sure thats really opinion either. Internet Explorer is only the most prevalent because Windows is hte most used OS in the world and its bundled with it. Well, until the law passed in Europe.

I like Firefox, but Chrome is just faster. FF takes literally 15-20 seconds to open on my computer, and I've uninstalled/reinstalled it 3 times, every time a new one comes out. Did it before I went from Vista and after I did a fresh install to Windows 7. Chrome opens immediately, always has.

20 seconds to open? Dude there is something majorly wrong there.

Im running firefox 3.6 and everything is lightning. No load times at all when surfing R3V.

Though I did build my computer myself. E8400 CPU and 4gb of 1000mghz Mushkin ram

Yeah Josh man I dunno. Mine takes no time at all.

Chrome is snappy, I will give it that. And I like the simplicity and concentration on tabing. Meh its whatever. I use Safari on iPad, Chrome at home, Firefox at work. Emulate IE on everything...

Seriously, I don't know what the fuck its problem is. No idea why it takes that long to start.

Just tried it again a few times, and it's only taking about 5 or 6 seconds. Chrome opens before I can finish saying "one-one thousand".

Im sure it takes longer benchmarked on any machine. Firefox isnt nearly as lightweight as Chrome.
